There are some passages in the Bible we love to read.

And there are others we would rather skip.

Exodus 11 is one of those passages.

Because after nine plagues, nine confrontations, and repeated opportunities for Pharaoh to surrender, God says:

“One more.”

And this time, the cost will be devastating.

So what do we do with a God who is loving—but also judges?

What do we do when mercy has been offered again and again...

and someone keeps saying no?

Because Exodus 11 isn't only a story about Pharaoh.

It asks a frightening question of us:

How many times can God knock on the door of a human heart while we keep refusing to open it?
