Rev. Dr. Ruth King
Lead Pastor
Pastor Ruth was ordained in 2016 by the Church of the Nazarene. She has served in a variety of roles within the church during her lifetime including Office Administrator, Sunday School teacher, Children's minister, Associate Pastor, Pastor of Compassionate Ministries, Bible study leader, Meal ministry leader, community liaison, trainer, life coach, MOPS leadership, and youth director. Feeling disillusioned with the direction most churches are heading, the idea of an online church was born and she began Pivot Point along with her husband and some close friends. Ruth enjoys sewing, cross stitch and gardening. They have four grown children and three corgi dogs.
John King
Associate Pastor
Pastor John was recently ordained and serves as associate pastor and music director. He has served in churches for many years as the worship leader and
Bible study leader. He was instrumental in creating Pivot Point and much of what you see is his idea. John loves working on old cars and has restored many to being roadworthy. He currently provides a weekly encouragement video which can be found on our Facebook and Instagram pages on Tuesdays.
