The Vision
Pivot Point is a community where the digital and physical intersect, where we find unity in our diversity and lives are transformed.
- We want to reach others, wherever they are, regardless of history, location, background, baggage, or previous religious affiliation.
- We are Christ followers and promote Christ-filled living following the Bible only
- We try to lead by example but realize that we, too, are human and occasionally fail
- We are not associated with any one denomination nor do we promote one over the other
- We live life together, promoting a Bible-based, Christ-filled life through fun (activities and games, fellowship (get-togethers with no agenda, food(of course), service (a time of giving back to the community through organizations we support), Bible study (weekly time to learn in a safe environment without the pressures of “church”) and weekly attendance of a Bible-based Christian body of believers.
- Our goal is to create believers who are active in their local body (BOB group), who also desire to grow additional groups to meet the needs in their local area.
- We desire to further develop individuals to positions of leadership within their local body through regular training and mentoring.
- In order to better understand our faith and why we believe what we do, we are interested in talking about anything and everything through the eyes of Christ and the Bible. This may include, but is not limited to: politics, theology, economics, philosophy, racism, sexuality, marriage, end-times, prophesy, gender, and/or religions or other faith-systems.
- Judgment, prejudices, and condemnation have no place in our group - we need to look at these through the eyes of Christ and see people as He does.
