Pivot groups

Faith Was Never Meant to Be Lived Alone
Church is more than watching a message.
It's about growing in faith, building relationships, and encouraging one another along the way.
That's why we created Pivot Groups.
A Pivot Group is simply a few people gathering together—in a home, around a kitchen table, or even online—to study God's Word, pray, ask questions, and share life together.
You don't need a large group. You don't need to be a Bible expert.
You just need a willingness to gather.
And we'll help you with the rest.

YOU HOST.
WE PROVIDE THE TEACHING.

Starting a Pivot Group is easier than you might think.
1. Gather your people.
Invite a few friends, family members, neighbors, or coworkers. Start with two or three people if that's what you have.
2. Choose when and where to meet.
Your living room, a coffee shop, or an online meeting—whatever works for your group. Meet at a pace that fits your lives.
3. Grow together.
Watch a Pivot Point message, use our free discussion and study resources, explore Scripture together, and pray for one another.
You don't have to prepare a sermon or come up with your own Bible lessons.
We'll provide the teaching. You provide the place to gather.

THERE'S SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT GROWING TOGETHER
We can learn a great deal studying Scripture on our own. But God also created us for relationships.
A Pivot Group gives you a place to:
Ask questions without feeling embarrassed.
Discover what Scripture means together.
Encourage and pray for one another.
Build genuine friendships.
Put your faith into practice.
As Hebrews 10:24–25 reminds us, we're called to encourage one another and spur each other on toward love and good deeds.
You may start by gathering to study the Bible. But along the way, you may discover something even greater—a community of people who care about one another.
READY TO START A PIVOT GROUP?
You don't need to have everything planned before reaching out.
Maybe you already have a few people in mind. Maybe you're interested but have questions about how it would work.
Either way, we'd love to hear from you.
Tell us a little about yourself and your interest in starting a Pivot Group. Pastor Ruth will help you explore the next steps.
Let's grow together.
