Easter 2026

Apr 5, 2026    Rev. Dr. Ruth King

He is risen! He is risen indeed! But what if Easter isn’t about strong faith—it’s about a God who shows up when our faith feels weakest? The first Easter morning didn’t begin with celebration, but with confusion, grief, and unanswered questions. The women weren’t looking for a risen Savior—they were looking for a body. And yet, before they ever arrived, God had already moved. The stone was already rolled away. The victory was already won. And that means something life-changing for us: even when we’re not looking for Him, even when we don’t understand, even when our expectations are too small—God is already seeking us.

Luke 24:1–12; John 20:1–18; 1 Corinthians 15:3–8
